Lord Jesus Christ, in your name,
I pray for the conversion of the world.
Look upon our lowliness,
not our evil deeds,
only remember our sacrifices.
Lord Jesus Christ, in whom we find redeeming grace,
We pray to You, Holy One,
Heal the darkened eyes of the world,
Cleanse us in your blood and water.
Light up the corners where Your suffering servants dwell
who defend Your light in the darkness.
Remember also those who have lost their will
and submitted into sins.
By Your Holy Power, they shall arise from the slumber
and run to you in haste.
Lord Jesus Christ, receive me
when my spirit flies to You.
Take my soul into Your hands,
and do not let me fall.
Saving Grace,
Pour Your Spirit upon the world,
and upon Your Church.
Feed us with Your Word.
Eternal God Incarnate,
We cry to You O living God,
Hear our prayers.
Amen.

“Praise the Lord, my soul; all my inmost being, praise his holy name.
Praise the Lord, my soul, and forget not all his benefits—
who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases,
who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion,
who satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.” (Psa 103)
Really beautiful prayer….Diane
Yes, it certainly is beautiful. Thank you for sharing it with all of us.
Thank you Diane, and Reinkat. I love writing prayers- though it comes with a challenge of its own, as I can’t write down the prayer as I am praying.. but some prayers, I remember afterwards. Praying is truly a beautiful service for God and a beautiful task God has asked from all of us. It is such a joy and a living miracle!
We all have different gifts, and this seems to be one of yours. Thank you for articulating the words to help me formulate my own conversations with God.
